Signia Hilton Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples, Florida, plans to reopen in January 2027 following a full property transformation that includes all 474 guest accommodations as well as dining, wellness and meeting space. Chef Asif Syed leads the reimagined food and beverage program as Director of Culinary. The resort says the five venues are designed to open along with the property.

The lineup: Spoonbill, a lobby-level café and marketplace with an in-house pastry program, sandwiches, salads, cold-pressed juices, and ice cream and affogatos in the evening; Solfina Bar and Terrace, an indoor-outdoor lobby bar with Neapolitan pizzas, crudo, shareable plates, Negronis and Spritzes; Vicolo Social Club and Trattoria, with house-made pastas, a steak program, tableside service and a martini bar; Cocoplum Pool Bar, serving burgers, salads, frozen cocktails, wine and champagne; and Flipside Beach Bar.

Key points

  • Reopening is targeted for January 2027 after a renovation touching all 474 guest rooms and suites.
  • Five venues: Spoonbill, Solfina Bar and Terrace, Vicolo Social Club and Trattoria, Cocoplum Pool Bar and Flipside Beach Bar.
  • Chef Asif Syed is Director of Culinary for the new program.

Tip: If you're planning a Naples stay around the relaunch, the announced opening window is January 2027 — verify dates and rates directly with the resort before booking, since a single month window leaves little slack for construction delays.

Hilton launches High Performance Meetings, a wellness framework for group events

The framework extends Hilton's existing World's Most Welcoming Events initiative and draws on the company's Meetings Maximizer and Why We Gather research. Hilton cites its own finding that 67% of attendees feel less engaged when events lack meaningful downtime as part of the rationale for putting structured rest and recharge time into event agendas.

In practice the four pillars cover mindfulness and breathwork sessions, menus and snack timing built around sustained energy, movement breaks and fitness activities woven into the agenda, and dedicated recovery time including spa therapies and relaxation spaces. Hilton describes the approach as flexible, so individual properties and planners can adapt it to each event's goals rather than applying a fixed package.

Key points

  • Four pillars: mindset, nutrition, movement and recovery, applied before, during and after an event
  • Three stages: Arrive Ready (pre-event guidance), Stay Ready (agenda and on-site wellness), Return Ready (post-event resources)
  • Hilton reports 67% of attendees feel less engaged when events lack meaningful downtime

Tip: If you plan group business at a Hilton property, ask the hotel's events team which High Performance Meetings elements — movement breaks, scheduled downtime, hydration and meal timing — can be written into your agenda, and confirm what is included versus charged as an add-on before signing.
