Hyatt and Brigade Group plan two Hyatt Regency hotels in Bengaluru, 600 rooms total

The two hotels will carry the Hyatt Regency brand and are planned within larger mixed-use projects rather than as standalone sites, according to the companies' announcement. Combined, the pair is expected to add 600 rooms to Hyatt's Bengaluru footprint.

Hyatt's development pipeline in India is being expanded through partnerships with local developers, and Brigade Group is the named partner for these two Bengaluru projects. Timing for construction or opening was not disclosed.

Amex 35% Membership Rewards transfer bonus to Marriott reported for targeted members

The bonus is account-specific, according to Doctor of Credit, so it may not appear for every American Express cardholder. The promotion changes the standard 1:1 transfer ratio to 1:1.35 for eligible members through December 10, 2026.

Doctor of Credit notes that Marriott transfer bonuses have varied in prior years, including a 35% bonus in late 2025 and a 20% bonus in 2023. The publisher cautions that the bonus may not be compelling relative to the value of Membership Rewards points.
