Delta adds free Wi-Fi on Asia-Pacific routes, closing gap in international coverage
Delta · 2026-10-19
The Asia-Pacific rollout closes what Delta described as the last gap in its international Wi-Fi map, covering trans-Pacific flights to and from the region. SkyMiles Members in every cabin can log in once boarding doors close and use one or more devices for messaging, email, browsing and streaming video on their own devices. Delta also points to new satellite capacity entering service over the Americas as support for growing demand for connectivity.
Delta Sync, the airline's in-flight portal for SkyMiles Members, bundles entertainment and partner content with the connection, including journalism from The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, streaming from Crunchyroll and Paramount+, and live sports through Sport 24. Paramount+ access is limited to U.S.-based SkyMiles Members on flights originating in the U.S. More than 195 million Delta Sync Wi-Fi sessions have been logged since the platform launched in 2023.
Key points
- Free onboard Wi-Fi is tied to free SkyMiles membership and is available in all cabins on equipped aircraft.
- Nearly 1,300 aircraft are Wi-Fi equipped — more than 95% of Delta's fleet.
- Full fleet connectivity is expected by early 2027, covering remaining Delta Connection regional jets and the Boeing 717.
Tip: Join SkyMiles (free) before your trip and keep your membership number handy — Wi-Fi access on equipped aircraft requires logging in as a Member, and some Delta Sync content such as Paramount+ is limited to U.S.-based members on U.S.-originating flights.

SAS EuroBonus paid status match includes Southwest Companion Pass to Diamond
Reported by Frequent Miler · 2026-10-19
According to Frequent Miler, the match is open to elite members of most non-SkyTeam airlines and is handled by StatusMatch.com. Applicants can buy Silver for €89, Gold for €199 or Diamond for €349. Approved status runs for the remainder of the existing EuroBonus year plus 12 months, and no flight activity is required to keep it. Matching cannot extend a tier the member already holds.
The report says Gold and Diamond include SkyTeam Elite Plus benefits: an extra 20kg/44lb baggage allowance or one extra bag, SkyPriority check-in and boarding, and business-class lounge access on international SkyTeam-operated flights for the member plus one guest on the same flight. Diamond also offers a 30% discount on award flights. Domestic Delta SkyClub access is not included.
Key points
- Match fees: Silver €89, Gold €199, Diamond €349 via StatusMatch.com; no flight challenge is required.
- Southwest Companion Pass holders can match to Diamond; A-List maps to Silver and A-List Preferred to Gold.
- SkyTeam airlines, Singapore Airlines, TAP Air Portugal and Etihad are excluded; residents of China, Brazil, Argentina, Hong Kong and Taiwan are also ineligible.
Tip: Before paying, confirm your current airline status appears on the published match chart and that your residence is eligible. If you mainly want SkyTeam Elite Plus perks, Gold at €199 may be enough; Diamond at €349 adds a 30% award discount but cannot extend an existing EuroBonus tier.

Vrbo: up to 12x miles or 20% back via Capital One Offers/Shopping
Reported by Frequent Miler · 2026-10-19
Frequent Miler says rates vary by account and portal. It currently sees 12x miles through Capital One Offers and 15% back in its Capital One Shopping account, after previously seeing 20% back there; targeted email offers can sometimes be higher. Travel purchases may initially track as ineligible before changing to pending or posted, the publisher notes.
The rebate is limited to eligible vrbo.com purchases. Vrbo bookings below $20, listing renewals, and refer-a-friend coupon codes starting with “RAF” do not qualify. Payouts are generally issued within 45 days after a completed stay, and reservations must be completed within one year of booking; the account used must remain open and in good standing.
Key points
- Up to 12x miles through Capital One Offers for cardholders; up to 20% back through the public Capital One Shopping portal, per Frequent Miler.
- Excludes Vrbo bookings under $20, listing renewals, and refer-a-friend codes starting “RAF”; outside promotional codes may invalidate the offer.
- Payouts typically within 45 days after a completed stay; the reservation must be completed within one year of booking.
Tip: Before booking, check both Capital One Offers and Capital One Shopping for your available rate, compare the total Vrbo price with other rental platforms, and monitor the purchase if it initially tracks as ineligible.

JetBlue TrueBlue Buy-Points Promo Offers Up to a 120% Bonus Through Nov. 5
Reported by AwardWallet · 2026-10-19
The bonus scales with purchase size: 5,000–9,000 points earns a 100% bonus (about 1.61¢ per point), 10,000–19,000 points earns 110% (about 1.54¢), and 20,000–200,000 points earns 120% (about 1.47¢). Buying 1,000–4,000 points carries no bonus and costs roughly 3.23¢ each. Per AwardWallet, the largest single purchase — 200,000 base points plus 240,000 bonus — totals $6,450 including the 7.5% tax recovery fee, while as few as 44,000 points after the bonus costs $645 at the same rate.
TrueBlue is a revenue-based currency; AwardWallet puts the average redemption value near 1.24¢ per point, so buying at 1.47¢ mainly makes sense for topping off an existing balance or when a specific redemption prices well. AwardWallet's example: a Boston–San Francisco Mint itinerary at 49,100 points would cost about $720 in purchased points plus $5.60 in taxes, against a $649 cash fare. Purchased points are non-refundable and are slated to post within 72 hours.
Key points
- Promotion runs through Nov. 5, 2026, 11:59 p.m. EST, with a 200,000-point purchase cap per member.
- Bonus tiers: 100% at 5,000–9,000 points, 110% at 10,000–19,000 points, 120% at 20,000–200,000 points.
- Purchases are non-refundable, include a 7.5% tax recovery fee, and do not count toward Mosaic elite qualification.
Tip: Price the cash fare first: at 1.47¢ per point, an award only beats paying cash when the redemption prices well below the ticket. Use the promo to top off a balance you are ready to spend rather than to stockpile speculatively.
Offer ends: 2026-11-06. Check the source for current availability and full terms.
